Kathryn Renée Thomas

Kathryn Renée Thomas is best known for her work on the TV Land comedy, Teachers, which she co-created, executive produced, wrote, and starred in as Deb Adler. The series ran for 50 episodes!

Kathryn improvised for many years in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Detroit. She has performed at UCB, The Second City, The iO Theater, and The Annoyance Theatre. She also taught improv through the After School Matters program for six years. Kathryn has her B.F.A. in Theatre Performance and B.A. in English Language and Literature from The University of Michigan. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and the WGAW.

Kathryn currently lives in Detroit with her husband, three-year-old daughter, and dog. Her interests include RuPaul’s Drag Race, coffee, and Zoloft.
